About this tool

Planned: a final grade calculator for US students — current grade, target grade and final-exam weight in, required score out — plus the full study cluster (weighted grade, semester grade). Demand spikes every finals season and every top result is a small niche site, though several exact-match domains are entrenched.

Frequently asked questions

How is the needed final grade calculated?

Required score = (target − current × (1 − final weight)) ÷ final weight. Example: current 88%, target 90%, final worth 25% → you need about 96% on the final.

What if the number is over 100%?

Then the target is mathematically out of reach — the calculator will say so honestly and show the best grade still achievable.
